This morning, at approximately 0837 hrs, the Elverson Division along with TVFD Rescue were dispatched for an accident reported serious. Shortly after response, CCFB advised that they would be upgrading the assignment based on supplemental information to entrapment. This added a second Medic from Medic 93 and a BLS unit from our Honey Brook division. Ambulance 892 arrived onscene and conducted Triage, it was determined to place Aero-Medical on standby due to severity of the patient that was trapped.

TVFD Rescue arrived and went into service with extrication of the patient. Ambulance 189-1 arrived and treated the other patients. After extrication, the patient was flown to a local trauma center for further treatment. All units were clear of the assignment by 1030 hrs.
