On the chilly morning of February 20th 2016 at 05:13hrs Ambulance 189-1 (Honey Brook Station) along with Brandywine Hospital Medic 93 were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Welsh Rd, in Honey Brook Twp for a Maternity. The crew from Ambulance 189-1 EMT K. McCarthy and EMT J. Santiago made a quick response to the residence. The crew was greeted by family members and escorted into the residence where they found a female in obvious distress.

After only being on location for 6 minutes EMT K. McCarthy and EMT J. Santiago were welcoming a healthy baby girl into the world at 05:28 hrs. Both Mom and Baby were cared for and packaged for transport to local hospital.
