Ambulance, Squad & Rehab unit respond to Wallace Township woods fire

On the afternoon of Sunday April 17, the Glen Moore Fire Company (Station 48), was dispatched to a woods fire in the unit block of Lovell Lane in Wallace Township.
Units arrived with approximately 2 acres of woodland on fire. Several area fire companies worked cooperatively to bring the fire under control.
Ambulance 89-1 (from the Elverson station); and Squad 189 & Rehab 89 (from the Honey Brook station) were both requested to the scene to standby in case of any injuries, and to assist with firefighter rehabilitation. Food and drinks were made available to the firefighters to assist with replenishing themselves after fighting the fire.
