Today EMT Vince Passerini worked his last "official" shift as a regular part-time EMT for Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS. Vince recently accepted a full-time job with Dare County EMS located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, starting his new position on Monday.

Vince joined Elverson EMS in early 2012 after obtaining his EMT license as a volunteer before being hired on in 2015. Last year he was awarded with 2 Clinical Save Awards by the Chester County EMS council, to attain a Clinical Save Award, EMS professionals must have initiated immediate and effective care that resulted in the restoration of vital signs in a patient whose death was otherwise imminent.

Vince also served as a volunteer firefighter Lieutenant and QRS Captain with Geigertown Fire Company having joined that department in 2011. Vince will be staying on the roster with EHBEMS to work any available shifts when he is back in the area visiting friends & family.

On behalf of Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS we would like to thank Vince for his professional service and years of dedication. We wish him the very best of luck in his new career!
