On Wednesday our staff was involved in the Stop the Bleed for Owen J Roberts School District. This was a group effort between the Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS, Paoli Hospital and Chester County DES. Instructors taught the staff how to apply a tourniquet as bleeding control. These skills can save lives as blood loss is a very preventable with proper training.
