Single Vehicle Crash on 176

00:19hrs - Ambulance 89-2 was dispatched to assist the Twin Valley Fire Department with a vehicle accident on route 176 at mile marker 2.
An ambulance from Keystone Quality Transport came upon the crash and could not find a subject with the vehicle.

Chief 69 arrived and requested the Pennsylvania State Police along with Penn Dot to the scene for large rocks scattered in the roadway.
Ambulance 89-2 arrived on location & searched the median and woods along the roadway. A single vehicle with moderate front end damage was found sitting in the left lane. No subject could be found, the driver had fled the scene prior to emergency services arrival.

Emergency crews remained on scene until the completion of the police investigation and the removal of the vehicle.
