On September 25th, 2023, Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the 4800 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough for a residential rescue.

Ambulance 189 and Rescue 33 led by Captain 33 (Bailey) made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that a child was locked in her bedroom and the caller was unable to gain entry. Ambulance 189 arrived and the crew stood by while the Rescue crew made quick work of the lock on the door and gained entry to the child. Ambulance 189’s crew confirmed that the child was ok and their services would not be needed.

Ambulance 189 and Rescue 33 cleared the scene a short time later.
