| On April 7th, units from Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS and Honey Brook Fire Company were dispatched to the 2200 block of Horseshoe Pike for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. While en route, Chief 33 received updated information indicating that a vehicle was on its side against a residence, with one occupant trapped. The incident was further complicated by a downed utility pole, with wires lying across the roadway and in close proximity to the vehicle. Upon arrival, Chief 33 confirmed the reports and established command. Due to the confirmed entrapment, additional resources, including Tower Medic 93, were requested to assist. Through coordinated efforts between EMS and fire personnel, crews safely extricated the patient from the vehicle. The patient was assessed, treated on scene, and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS extends its appreciation to Tower Medic 93 and the volunteers of Honey Brook Fire Company for the continued partnership and dedication in serving the community. |
