The Elverson Fire Company purchased their first ambulance, a 1934 Buick, was placed in service May of 1948.

The Honey Brook Fire Company purchased thier first ambulance, a 1948 Chevrolet, also placed in service in 1948.

1955 saw the addition of two-way radios and by this time Elverson had updated thier ambulance to a 1953 Cadillac.

In July 1961, Elverson took delivery of our first NEW ambulance, an International Travelall.

In 1967 Elverson traded our International ambulance on a new Pontiac –Superior.

January of 1974 saw another major advance in our service to the community by the addition of a second ambulance in Elverson; a 1974 Chevrolet Modulance. Because of this extra piece of equipment we added three more bays to the engine room. completing the work in December of 1975.

In November of 1976 Elverson replaced the Pontiac ambulance with a Chevrolet Superior ambulance.

In February of 1980 Elverson's 1976 Chevy ambulance was replaced with a new Ford Yankee ambulance.

In 1991, Honey Brook purchases twin Ford/LifeLine ambulances, to replace the 1979 Horton and 1983 PL Custom ambulances.

In 1996 Elverson replaced the Wheeled Coach with a E-One Ford E-350 4x4 Ambulance.

In 2001 Elverson replaced the wheeled Coach with a Ford e-350 Horton.

In 2003 Elverson replaced the E-one with a Ford e-450 Horton.

In 2004 Elverson Ambulance had paid staff 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies.

In 2005 talks began about Morgantown Fire Co and Elverson Fire Company merging into one fire company, at this time it was suggested that the EMS division split off into their own enity.

In 2006 Elverson Fire Co. Ambulance became Elverson EMS Inc. switching from station number 32 to station number 89.

In 2005, 2007, and 2011, Honey Brook purchases new Ford LifeLine ambulances

In 2015, Elverson EMS and Honey Brook Fire Company Ambulance Division merged into on single company, Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS. The Elverson station remains Station 89, while Honey Brook moves from Station 33 to Station 189.
