11:26hrs - Ambulance 189-1 were dispatched to a private residence in Honey Brook Township along with MICU 93-1 for an ALS maternity call.

On arrival, EMT's J. Duva and J. Rodgers entered the residence and found the patient in the end stages of labor, with the MICU arriving a few minutes later. The patient was removed to the ambulance, and transport began.

At 12:20hrs a baby girl was born in the back of the ambulance while enroute to the hospital. Mom and baby were cared for until arrival at the hospital, when care was transferred to the Labor and Delivery staff.
