On April 2nd, 2024, at 7:50 am Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and neighboring fire agencies were dispatched to the 300 block of Todd Road in Honey Brook Township for a chicken house fire.
Honey Fire Company units and Ambulance 189 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a chicken house was on fire. Captain 33 went on the scene and reported a 20x20 chicken house fully involved and requested a "Working Fire Dispatch".
Ambulance 189 arrived and stood by while also providing water to the firefighters on the scene. Honey Brook Fire Company units had the fire under control relatively quickly and the assignment was scaled back to the units on scene and 1 additional tanker. Captain 33 then requested a response from PPL.
Ambulance 189 cleared the scene at 8:37 am.
