Day 2 of the Law Enforcement United “Road to Hope” ride brought another meaningful and memorable day alongside the riders of Honor 37.

Our teams departed southern New Jersey this morning and continued south toward the Delaware beaches. Under beautiful skies and unusually warm spring weather, the day carried a solemn but uplifting atmosphere that seemed to perfectly match the spirit of the mission. The combination of quiet reflection, camaraderie, and community support made for a truly memorable day for everyone involved.

One of the most significant moments of the day came in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the riders stopped to honor the local 9/11 memorial. It was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices that continue to inspire the mission of Law Enforcement United and Honor 37. Moments like these reinforce that the Road to Hope is far more than a long-distance bicycle ride. It is a tribute to service, sacrifice, remembrance, and the enduring bond shared across the public safety community.

The journey also included crossing the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, giving riders and support crews a brief opportunity to pause, reflect, and appreciate the day before continuing onward.

Throughout the route, communities once again welcomed the riders and support personnel with tremendous kindness and encouragement. The hospitality shown at each stop continues to demonstrate how deeply this mission resonates with so many people.

Elverson Honey Brook Area EMS remains proud to partner with Western Berks Ambulance Association in supporting Honor 37 and the mission of Law Enforcement United. We are grateful to be part of an effort that honors the fallen while supporting the survivors and families who continue to carry their legacy forward.
