| Elverson Honey Brook EMS is incredibly grateful to announce that we have been awarded $100,000 through Pennsylvania’s Local Share Account grant program for the purchase of responder vehicles.
This grant was obtained through Honey Brook Township, whose continued support of our organization and the communities we serve is deeply appreciated. Their willingness to invest in local emergency medical services makes a very real difference in our ability to remain prepared, responsive, and sustainable.
Across Pennsylvania and throughout the country, community EMS agencies continue to face significant challenges. The cost of vehicles, equipment, staffing, training, and day-to-day operations continues to rise, while the need for emergency medical services in our communities continues to grow. Maintaining a strong local EMS system requires more than the work of the people in the ambulances. It requires communities, municipalities, elected officials, residents, and emergency responders working together.
Support like this is critical.
This funding will allow us to make an important investment in responder vehicles that support our operations throughout the region. These vehicles help our personnel reach emergencies, provide command and operational support, move critical equipment, and keep our system functioning safely and efficiently every day.
